Sinews are a post-hardcore / noise rock band from Oxford, formed in March 2022. The band have played a number of shows with the likes of Cassels, Other Half, Beige Palace, and Shake Chain. The band was born out of the ashes of Brian and Rich's previous band Hertz, recruiting Luke from Spank Hair/Worry/Spring Major/Daisy on drums, and Thomas Instone from Egrets in on guitar. The band have been described by Nightshift Magazine as a 'cathartic blast of unfettered discontent and distortion', with a 'surprising ear for a tune despite vocals delivered with the angry belch of a killer whale with a hangover'.
