Longtime Los Angeles-based members Dave Georgeff (founding member of LA power punk group Wax), Mark Gracious, and irregular Jackass guest Jack Polick formed Sign Of The Fox in 2002 with original member Mike Criddell by recording their self-titled debut, released in February of 2003.
Sign Of The Fox featured the original "How Lucky Am I," later revised with the Maggie Gyllenhaal rendition in the film Happy Endings, directed by Don Roos.
The sophomore album, Your Wake-Up Is Calling was released in 2006. It included "Set It Up" which was featured in the ABC Family Channel series, Kyle XY and Greek.
The third and latest album For Anybody Else, likened by Johnny Depp to "Squeeze, with a little Clash and The Replacements," further explores the boundaries of their sincere - sometimes sarcastic - classic melodic pop tendencies, with the eloquent, liquor-driven wordplay and harmonies for which their song-writing is known.
Sign Of The Fox's first eclectic live show was held at LA's El Rey Theater in 2003, opening for Phantom Planet. Their live shows since have taken them up the coast to San Francisco, and across the map to sweet home Chicago. Sign Of The Fox continues to perform exclusively. Read more on Last.fm.
