SHiiVERS make alternative electro-pop, blending layers of dark synths, grimy basslines, intricate beats and beguiling lyrics. Formed in 2018, they consist of university friends Tom and Clara who love pop music that tells a story, inspired by everyone from Sylvan Esso to M83, St. Vincent, Chvrches to LCD Soundsystem. Raw emotions, introspection, and reflections on the darker aspects of society are tied together though epic choruses, soaring vocals you can sing along to and ear wormey hooks. Having been ensconced in spotify studios recording their debut EP with Cameron Gower Poole (Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie, Jorja Smith), the band pre-empted its release with debut single ‘Animalism’.
