Josh's first release, Eighty Days, is a unique breath of air that remains fresh throughout its four original tracks and two covers. While it is difficult to compare Shake Down Valley to other music, the subtle technicality of Josh's music is clearly influenced by bands such as Weatherbox and Your Best Friend. The dreamy instrumentals and poetic, personal lyrics create surreal canvases of sound.
