The five-piece post-hardcore group Sha Chong Shui (engl. Insecticide) was found by guitarist Bill, Bass player Ming and Drummer GeaOn in 2001 in Guangzhou, South China. In 2005 lead guitarist Paul joined in. The band went through several singers, the latest being Marcus from Germany, who is singing in english. They released their first record 'Shout' in march 2010 in CHina on the Tenfists Records label and had shows before in Guangzhou with bands such as 'Have Heart', 'The Real Deal' and 'The Maple Room' .
