Patiently tinkering with domestic appliances and a W-30 sampler, Guido Misyunifurs and M.de Vivo a.k.a Sex Ettek find their electronic music style back in the 1990s. Ever since they have been gently singing along with it, shamelessly satisfied with themselves and the quiet universe represented in their songs. Kurhaus, the first full-length CD by Sex Ettek, released in 1995, contains sixteen fine examples of electronic pop music in general and of Sex Ettek soundscaping in particular. Eleven years after the release of Kurhaus, Sex Ettek completes its second full-length CD in 2006; Hallenbad. Guido Misyunifurs and M.de Vivo, the imperturbable twosome, adding a JP-8 to their soundforge, present their brand of sample-based electronic pop music in thirteen new titles.
