"Scandy" (or "DJ Scandy") is the third side-project of well-established norwegian musician "Andy LaPlegua" ("Icon of Coil", "Combichrist", "Panzer AG"). Established in 2004 this project is much more techno/dance oriented than his other projects. LaPlegua himself has described the sound as "techno body music" (or "TBM"). His first single, "Split", was released in 2004. This was followed by the singles "Hello My Name is Scandy" (aka the "Rock Me EP") and "So Do Eye" in 2005. All three singles were released on 12" vinyl. The first album, "13 Ways to Masturbate", was released on June 30th, 2006 via MasterHit Recordings.
