Sakine Ismailova (Azerbaijani: Səkinə İsmayılova, born 1956) is a singer from Azerbaijan. She graduated from Asef Zeynally Baku Music School and Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts. In 1980 she became a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. As an irreplaceable performer of folk songs and Mugams, Sakine Ismailova represented on a high level the Azerbaijan art of Mugam music outside of Azerbaijan For the first time in history Sakine Ismailova established a women Mugam trio and successfully performed in many countries of the world in recent years. As an experienced master of Mugam music she is always invited to state events and anniversaries as well as giving solo concerts in Heydar Aliyev Palace and Azerbaijan State Philharmonic society. She is a teacher at the Azerbaijan University of Culture and Arts and Azerbaijan National Conservatory. Presently, her students perform successfully in various music ensembles and gain popularity.
