Ruusut are a Finnish electropop band, whose debut album, Ruusut, was released in August 2018. The band played their first live show in the summer of 2018 at the Sideways Festival. The members of Ruusut have previously played in bands such as Pintandwefall, The Hearing, Eleanoora Rosenholm, Solano + Profettes, and Disco Ensemble. Author Lauri Levola writes the band’s lyrics. At the 2018 Emma Gala, the band received the Critics’ Choice Award for their album Ruusut. Alpo Nummelin, who played drums for the band, left the band in early 2025.
