room201 (also known as 201 Goushitsu or 201号室) is an active visual kei band under the menhera kei and shironuri kei subgenres. They formed and debuted in Tokyo in 2023. Forming on the 1st of January 2023, the members were not revealed until the 4th of January. The members consist of: Ken – (previously: Blue Blood Boa; L7 and currently, BAD ROMANCE) as the lead singer シンナ (Shinna) – (previously: XXXDOLL, Avilis, HOTATE BLUES project) as the bass guitarist Ryuta – (previously: Blue Blood Boa, L7, and currently, BAD ROMANCE) as the drummer Natsu also features as a support guitarist On the 15th of April, they released their first single hametunopoemu physically, and a digital release followed quickly afterwards on the 23rd. Their second single, Fruit of heavenly followed on the 16th of August. On the 31st of August, the band announced their plans of a 12 month consecutive single release campaign.
