Biography
Ron Leary grew up in the Dairy Capital of Canada, situated in the heart of the tobacco belt, on the edge of the snow belt, down in Southern Ontario, not so far away from Tillsonburg. Most weekends of his early years he was packed into his family's Ford NTD and driven to some random community hall or barn dance to entertain for the WWII widow crowd, where in his parent's country & western band The Corn Huskers, drumsticks in hand, Ron played enough polkas and foxtrots to last a lifetime. <a href=...Read more on Last.fm

Nowadays, Ron is based out of a border town called Windsor. It's right across the river from Detroit, Michigan and boasts some of the most amazing chemically enhanced sunsets on the planet. In the summer of 2006 Ron released his debut full-length "theroadinbetween," produced by longtime friend and collaborator Dean Drouillard, to rave reviews. It has been called a feast for the ears (Upfront) and relates stories of a world that is a complicated place without tidy endings (Vue Weekly). Over the past few years Ron has been a regular on the Canadian touring circuit. Read more on Last.fm.
