Rodrigo González was a Mexican street performer, widely known as Rockdrigo. He was born in 1950, in the state of Tamaulipas, and died in the Mexico City earthquake in September 19, 1985. He is often seen as the precursor for many of the Mexican rock bands that became important in the late 80s and 90s - Although he only recorded one album while alive (Hurbanistorias), after his death three more albums were issued, containing several works in progress and bits from live presentations (El profeta del nopal, Aventuras en el Defe and No estoy loco).
