Love is an addiction that has spread through Robbie Downie's bones. Robbie Downie is an alternative- acoustic artist sprouting from a small town in Rhode Island. He has been inspired by music from a young age, and over time a music career changed from a dream to reality when he began to play guitar at the age 10. At age 12 his step father had introduced him to the acoustic guitar which was glorious to Robbie. Electric guitar slipped from his mind and he started to play more and more acoustic covers. Soon after his transfer over to acoustic music he moved to Rhode Island where his lyrics started to flow and songs were starting to be created. As he started to write more and more, he decided to start putting his music on itunes. At age 15, last year, he recorded his first itunes-released song called "The Forrest". Soon following after was "Marry You". This coming up summer a new album called "Weird Love" will be released on itunes. No tour dates at this time. .Acoustic songs about love are very common, but to a suprise most of Robbie's songs tend to reach in different areas of sound. The best explanation for the difference between most of songs he writes is inspired by many different artists, such as; Mansions, Lydia, A great big pile of leaves, Blink 182, A Rocket to the Moon, Chase Coy, Never Shout Never, and many more!
