A group consists of two performers: Bintas and Gipsas. Both of them are born in Vilnius and still are habitants of Lithuania's capital. In the year of 2001 they started composing music using software. A name of their crew appeared in 2002. So, the name was `Rentgenas`, what means a device of x-ray machine. The essence of a group‘s title incarnates lyrical content. They are trying to analyse inner psychological laws of human behaviour. At this time `Rentgenas` is struggling to enrich the musical assortment of Lithuanian alternative scene with a high quality music. Both members are making beats, writing lyrics, MC‘ing and editing sound by themselves. Crew has achieved their own conspicuous sounding. `Rentgenas` is breaking the limits of intellectual music styles, but still don‘t getting far from raw hip-hop beats. It took a few years for perfecting group‘s compositions till crew brought their music to public. In the december of 2005 `Rentgenas` takes the first place in the competition organised by `IOM` (International Organisation for Migration). The objective was to make a song about an unconsidered aspects of migration from Lithuania to abroad. That song was released in the form of a single `Reisas: Lietuva – Užsienis`. In the summer of 2007 the music video for Gipsas‘s solo project `Dogmatiškas Miegas` was finished. In the end of the same year group‘s song `teRAPija` was released in a mixtape `Hip-Hop Oratorius` by `IAL` (Individual Appearance Label). In december album hit the stores. In the next year `Rentgenas` presented a `Sampler 2008-2009` that consists of the best beats for the future projects. Recently Bintas and Gipsas extended their musical activity with the producing of other groups. This crew is able to experiment with different music styles in not casual ways.
