Some people are born into greatness, some luck up and are in the right place at the right time, others, a chosen few, are blessed to know early on in life what their “Real” calling is meant to be. Rajal Wisdom Jr aka “Real Dynamite” has been working hard in the hip-hop/rap game since the tender age of 6. Born in Southside Jamaica, Queens NYC and bred in Raleigh, North Carolina, Real’s love for hip-hop music was cultivated from his early years with his dad on the NYC hip-hop scene and his immersion into the Southern Rap scene in Raleigh, North Carolina. Real Dynamite began by performing in shows, and making a name for himself on the local hip-hop scene. Real’s father recognized his son’s unprecedented work ethic at his young age and decided to build his own start up label and devote 100% of his energy to helping Real succeed, launching a Record Label and opening a recording studio. Now with his family and own label imprint behind him Real Dynamite would begin a journey, which lead him to become one of the most recognized young figures in North Carolina’s hip-hop scene, earning him a “One to Watch” spotlight in The Source Magazine, along with a local stage spot opening for The Notorious Big in North Carolina. By 16 years old, Real was opening for many prominent hip-hop acts who came through the North Carolina scene, performed at Charlotte’s popular CIAA Tournament and All Star Weekend and finally, fulfilled a dream when he secured a spot on BET’s 106 & Park’s ‘Freestyle Friday. By 2010 Real Dynamite was one of the most recognized hip-hop artists in North Carolina and was on the verge of releasing his much anticipated single, “Energy” and “I Do It”– featuring DJ Khaled and when tragedy struck. Real along with his father were involved in a tragic street incident. Real was sentenced to five years in prison for accessory and his father is currently serving a life sentence. Now back on the hip-hop scene, Real Dynamite has taken all of his life experiences and passion and channeled them into his new, highly anticipated mixtape – “WAT’S BOMBN Vol. 1” is already garnering rave reviews as Real Dynamite releases New Singles “50 BlAKK WHIPS”, “CALL IT” and “ELEVATOR”. Since being released, Real Dynamite has been featured on Juicy J’s THC Tour, DJ Jack tha Ripper’s “UBEENJACKED Tour”, and performed alongside Post Malone, Young Scooter, and more. Read more on Last.fm.
