Raiven Hunter is a talented multi-instrumentalist and producer from Cape Town, South Africa. University educated in saxophone and piano performance, music production, songwriting and arrangement in jazz studies, he has toured and recorded with South African bands such as 7th Son, Hog Hoggidy Hogg, Julia Jakobsen, Captain Stu, JacSharp, Bateleur, The Little Kings, Sonja Herholdt, 7ft Soundsystem and is a consistent performer and contributor to SAMA nominated act, Goodluck. His music is a reflection of his formal jazz and classical pedigree combined with years of nights dancing in clubs, family and friend music sessions at home plus a constant influence of melodic music with poppy chords and a pulsating beat.
