Pink And Imperfect is a British experimental electronic producer based in London. They are best known for their genre-defying music and working with artists such as vividx111, Vesst and sickamore (Julius). Taking inspirations from artists such as Charli XCX, Slayyyter and Ayesha Erotica, they produced their first studio album titled ‘Phantasmagoria’, a retro, y2k video game themed album, that explores genres like hyperpop, glitch pop and dance, and released it on all streaming platforms on September 7th, 2021. After a TikTok user used ‘Sugar Rush’ in a video, it quickly became their most popular song, currently at 1.2k streams. Phantasmagoria currently has 9.2k streams on Spotify. Pink And Imperfect then came back a few months later with the lead single on their sophomore album ‘GLITCH’. They released ‘GLITCH’ on June 4th 2022, and the deluxe version on August 12th 2022. The deluxe album heavily experiments the limits for pop music, with every song being its own form of a glitch, hence the album title. Genres such as hyperpop, glitch pop, deconstructed club and bubblegum bass are featured on the album. After the release of the album, non-singles like ‘Wicked (Interlude)’ and ‘Game Over’ quickly gained popularity, becoming some of the producers most popular songs to date.
