Payung Teduh is an Indonesian alternative/indie band with a fusion genre between folk, keroncong, and jazz. Payung Teduh was formed in late 2007 with the initial formation of Is (vocalist) and Comi (contra bass). In 2008, Payung Teduh invited Cito to join together as a drummer, then took Ivan as a gitarlele player and a trumpet player in 2010. Angin Pujaan Hujan is the first song to bring out their own color. Over time, other songs were created, such as Kucari Kamu, Amy, Untuk Perempuan Yang Sedang Dalam Pelukan, as well as works from theater performances with CaturAri Wibowo such as Resah, Cerita tentang Gunung dan Lauta, as well as Amalia Puri's work entitled Tidurlah and Malam. In the end Payung Teduh decided to make his first indie album which was released at the end of 2010.
