Partikal Katastr is an audio project by Martijn Castel (Netherlands). He has always been involved with music; as a kid started playing Cello and at a later age the Bass Guitar. After a few years playing in a metal band he switched to the Electronics and started his study in Audio Design. Partikal Katastr produces tracks in (mostly) Logic and creates specialized software for playing live using NI Reaktor. Partikal Katastr is now active for about ten years and has shared line-up’s with the likes of: Mono-Amine, Rinse, Hypnoskull, Sickboy, Sonar, Cardiak, King-Pin, Noisekick, Capslock, Akira and more. Partikal Katastr may be a combination of a wide range of influences but manifests itself mostly in the styles of Breakcore, Hardcore, Speedcore, Industrial, Jazz & Soundscapes.
