1) PANIK (aka Panik ltdc) is a French Punk-Oi band from the 80s that appeared in many French punk compilations. They are one of the many bands from the chaos punk era. They reunited in 2008.
2) PANIK is a nu metal/crossover band from Germany consisting of Frank "Franky" Ziegler (vocals), David Bonk (guitar, piano, vocals), Christian Linke (bass, guitar, vocals), Timo Sonnenschein (rap-vocals, guitar), Jan "DeeJay" Werner (DJ) and Juri Schewe (drums). The band formed in 2002 under the name "Panik" ("Panic").
In 2007 they changed their name to Nevada Tan and released their first album Niemand hört dich. Only one year later they changed the name back to "Panik" due to disagreement with their management and production team, which they subsequently left.
Their second album is set for release on the 25th of September 2009.
In December 2009 the band declared, that they would not continue with the band and broke up.
