OVERSTREET, born Chord Paul Overstreet, (February 17, 1989, in Nashville, Tennessee) is an American singer, musician and actor, known for his role as Sam Evans on the Fox television series Glee (2009–2015). Before "Wasted Time" (2018), on August 26, 2016, he released his debut single, "Homeland", through Island Records and Safehouse Records. Overstreet released his single, "Hold On", on February 3, 2017. The song peaked at number #31 on the Spotify Viral 50 chart.
