La Orquesta Sinfónica de Xalapa (the Xalapa Symphony Orchestra) was founded on 21 August 1929 in Mexican state of Veracruz and its first master conductor was Juan Lomán y Bueno. Its directors were also holders of the founder: José Ives Limantour, Luis Jimenez Caballero, Fernando Avila Navarro, Luis Herrera de la Fuente, Enrique Diemecke, Jose Guadalupe Flores, Francisco Savin and Carlos Miguel Prieto. He is currently directed by Fernando Lozano. The OSX has given concerts throughout the Mexican territory in 1993 are invited to represent Mexico in the International Festival Europalia 1993 and again in September 2004 was followed by another European tour, with the highlights of this concert offered at the Konzerthaus in Wuppertal, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and at the De Doelen venue in Rotterdam. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Orquesta+Sinfonica+de+Xalapa">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
