There are two artist with the same name. 1) Ookla the Mok is Fandom's Own Rock Band. They've been playing at Science Fiction and Comic Book Conventions all over North America since 1994. Their clever, media-savvy lyrics, catchy melodies and accessible power-pop sound have made them a cult sensation with nerds everywhere. Ookla also does music for TV and movies. They wrote and performed the theme song to the ABC-TV Saturday morning cartoon Disney's Fillmore!, the score and soundtrack to the feature film Bite Me, Fanboy!, and had a song featured in the short film Because You Demanded It! 2) Ookla The Mok is also the name of a 90's Metal/Hardcore band from New Hampshire.
