Old Village is an ambient/Folk project, inspired by the ancient world's customs and the beauty and the melancholy of nature. The predominant musical style is composed of dark/folk and ambient, influenced by legends, folklore, beliefs, landscapes, cosmosand visions of lost worlds. The project was born in 2007 in Portugal by an Joao Ribeiro idea, actually in cooperation with other guest musicians. The first EP was released in later 2008. This EP is composed by 9 tracks of Dark Ambient/ NeoFolk. The second Album "INFINITO" was released in 2010 which is a more experimental album, with many ambiences and atmospheres. This is a Folk/Ambient work, inspired by the relationship between the ancient world (legends, myths, old customs) and the mystery of the unknown, cosmos and profecies... The mix of sounds on this album takes you to many diferent places, and different feelings.
