Olan Mill is the ambient project of Alex Smalley. Svitlana Samoylenko was also a integral part of Olan Mill's earlier releases. The work is described as holding a sublime measure between the realms of modern neo-classical composition and ambience. Smalley has worked with several other artists on paticular albums, including soprano Patricia Boynton and pianist Alex Lucas.
