Numa was an band out of Los Gatos, California. Formed in 2000, they recorded two full length's, the second of which was entitled Diablous Ex Machina. The band was a fusion of alternative rock and death metal. Two of the members, Marco Pitruzzella and Greg Larrenaga, were members of the melodic death metal band Vornagar. As a result, some of the riffs found in Vornagar songs can also be heard in Numa recordings.
