Their captivating pop songs have already brought Norma Sass to the Øya festival in Oslo, and their catchy single, Robbery, is currently playlisted by NRK P3 (Norwegian National Radio). Started three years ago, Norma Sass have achieved more than most new bands, and without having the backing of a label, had a demo playlisted by national radio, done a full tour of Norway, won NRK P3s Zoom competition, and self-released and EP, A Dance of Victory the Morning After. All the fuzz caught distributor Tuba Records’ attention, and the EP was released nationally in August 2009, just in time for the band’s appearance at the Oya festival. A performance on national TV show Store Studio soon followed. Norma Sass was then offered a recording deal by Tuba and their splendid debut, Hunting For Treasures, was completed in the summer of 2010 at Ocean Sound Recordings. They also played at by:Larm 2011.
