Nobuyuki Nakajima is a japanese composer, pianist and arranger based in Paris. Renowned for his mastery of piano, he is also a talented composer and arranger of elegant and thrilling ensembles based on the impressive depth and variety of his musical literacy. He has composed, amongst others, the music for NHK historical drama "Yae no Sakura," which was nominated for an Emmy Award in the Drama Series category, and for the films "Ningen Shikkaku" and "Itamu Hito". In 2017, he moved to France and worked as arranger, pianist and music director for the eighty worlwide concerts of Jane Birkin "Via Japan" tour and for the seventy-five worldwide concerts of "Gainsbourg / Le Symphonique", each of which was released on CD. He was also the musical director of the "Dandy Symphonique" concert and album by the legendary french singer Alain Chamfort. He is pursuing his career as musical director, orchestral arranger and pianist of the "Piaf Symphonique" worlwide tour which premiered recently at the opéra de Nice in France. He is currently collaborating as arranger and musical director on the "Aznavour 100 ans" tour, an orchestral work commemorating the centenary of the birth of Charles Aznavour that will premiere in Nice in 2024., followed by a world tour. His solo albums include "Été, Palma", "Melancolia", and "Broken Blossoms".
