Belgian band No Recess started in May 2005 when a group of students jammed a bit. What started as a joke ended in a song. Gilles had a few guitar riffs, Sjoerd took care of the bass parts, Axel put drums on it and Caro wrote a text. Before they even knew 'Wasted Memories' was born, Thibault was willing to do the second guitar and so was a new band. No Recess quit. Their last show was in Blankenberge in a small hut, with a lot of people.
