No Dachi was a musical project helmed by Dave Botluk and Daniel Olszewski that was active between 2008 and 2009. The rest of the band was a revolving door of artists, the most frequent of which being Caelan Perez and Anthony Lipphardt. No Dachi played a number of shows in Danville, PA and the surrounding area. They also recorded some songs at Dave's home studio. No Dachi was born out of the ashes of Daniel Olszewski's previous band, "Vegetable Soup", to which Dave Botluk acted as a mentor and frequent collaborator. The Original lineup of No Dachi featured several members of Vegetable Soup. Their style was unpredictable but usually centered on loud effects driven guitars. Dave and Dan would often both take solos on any given song. The material was a combination of original compositions by Dave and covers of songs by bands as varied as System of a Down, Dead Kennedys, Pink Floyd, and The Beatles.
