Niggas With Guitars is a duo of American electronic music producers hailing from Oakland, California, who make drone, ambient and experimental music. Their first recordings have been released under Smokeland Studio Records (mostly on cassettes) over the course of 2009, while their first LP entitled Ethnic Frenzy has been released in 2011 with Digitalis Recordings. According to the artists their influences entail Sade, Al Jarreau, RBL Posse, Slayer, Too $hort, Albert Ayle and others. They say that they are "wandering around through spliced tape, keyboards and drum machines, chopping up detritus music and re-purposing".
