Nelson Luís Ayres de Almeida Freitas, better known as Nélson Ayres (São Paulo, January 14, 1947), is a Brazilian music producer, arranger, instrumentalist (pianist), conductor and composer. He stands as one of the most prominent figures in contemporary Brazilian instrumental music.
