nearLY is the solo project of Jerome Dillon. He left the band Nine Inch Nails after alleged health problems, but it was later revealed to be due to arguments with Trent Reznor about artistic differences. Jerome left and focused on his solo project, some elements of which are quite ambient. nearLY released the debut album Reminder in 2005, along with the single Straight to Nowhere.
