There are more than one band called Near Life Experience. 1. Near Life Experience was created by Lillian Axe, Angel and Circle of Light guitarist Steve Blaze. It also included Farewell 2 Fear guitarist Bob Bearden, former Crowbar bassist Jeff Okoneski, former Crowbar and Black Label Society drummer Craig Nunenmacher, former Lillian Axe bassist Eric Morris, bassist Paul Starnes and bassist Joel Cooper. N.L.E. released 2 albums: 1998's "Near Life Experience" and 2002's "Day of Silver Sun". They were also part of the "Unauthorized Reproduction Encouraged" compilation CDs. 2. Near life experience was founded in oxford by james gray king who currently plays in xmas lights, the band had a great run during the nu metal era of early 2000 unfortunatly they never got picked up, they were extremely popular among the critics considered one of the most promising bands to come out of oxford metal scene, sadly they broke due to difrences in the band n.l.e mix a combination of metal riffs with a strong hardcore influence with even moments of funk <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Near+Life+Experience">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
