NEAR DEATH EXPERIMENT are metal band from the U.K, specifically Dagenham in Essex. They play a fast, aggressive & melodic take on modern metal. They formed in early 2005 and spent the next few years solidifying their sound and live performances locally, armed with nothing but determination, a strong DIY ethic and a clutch of good tunes. The current line-up came together in September 2008 and has already proven to be devestating, releasing the fantastic EP “The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things” as well as putting in a few excellent sets around London. Gavin Bourne sings & screams his heart out as Lewis sings backup vocals & plays guitar like a metal god. Meanwhile Dean attacks his guitar with punk rock ferocity as Erik Peachey holds down the low end. Jamie Gunn keeps it all together, playing drums like a machine.
