Nathan Barker is a solo artist currently residing in Tacoma, WA. He was born December 23, 1985 in Vancouver, WA. Nathan started out as a percussionist, playing drums for the band High with his brother Jason Barker for six years. Along the course of his time with High Nathan picked up multiple different instruments. After splitting ways Nathan filled in as a drummer for multiple different bands from the greater Seattle-Tacoma area, including the Tacoma based Fun Police and Seattle based band Smoking Bill. After the loss of two close friends in the year 2014, Nathan began writing Memories Through the Milky Way in their honor. Not only did he play all of the instruments on the album he also recorded, produced and edited it himself. Nathan is now currently working on his second full length studio album.
