Murders From The Block are an alternative rock-band formed in Milan, Italy. The project was born officially in June 2010, as a natural consequence of a meeting between Hillie and Slight. After short rehearsals in studio, the duo quickly found creative complicity and decided to form a band with some punk/metal and electronical influences. Through a web advertisement the guys soon recruited a drummer called Leo, that immediately contributed to make the Murders' sound, more powerful and aggressive. The 2011 was a year of intense live activity in all Milan's area, where the MFTB played severally shows in many important clubs like Black Hole and Legend 54. After a long period of studio sessions, in September 2011 the band decided to record his first self-produced EP: Spleen. The album is composed by 6 tracks and includes electronical textures inspired by the sound of 30 Seconds To Mars, Garbage and Kidneythieves. The first single, entitled No Way Out, is accompanied by a promotional videoclip.
