MurderOnTheDancefloor was the Bristol, UK-based Death Disco solo project of Jak Noble from late 2006 to 2008.
Heavily inspired by bands in the Post-Hardcore scene of the 2000s, Noble began to move his solo work from Hard Rock to a Trance-infused Deathcore concept, often focussing lyrically on the emotional troubles in his life at the time.
He released one self-titled EP before changing the name of his project due to a clash with an American Deathcore band of the same name. In 2008, a collection of MOTD demos named Before Copyright Became An Issue was released.
Noble's current project is named Returning We Hear the Larks, and all of his releases to date, including MOTD, are available for download on his official BandCamp. Read more on Last.fm.
