Muazzes is Bulgarian artist part of the mostly underground collective of artists Gentelbangerz Squad. He was one of the first in his country to experiment with Reggae/Dancehall sounds, and then later on, with Chopped and Screwed Southern Hip-Hop.
Muazzes produced his first tracks back in 1999 within the tribal-electro project Sakara. In 2001 a collection of tracks was released labeled Step One : Learning From the Roots, followed by two similar demo tapes The Beat Of The Feat (2003) and Riddim Sound (2004) in collaboration with Mr.Fish, V-Bass, NMA and others. These early demos were heavily influenced by Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall sound but his next single, Fake MCz (2006) was marked by a sharp turn towards Chopped and Screwed Hip-hop. Followed by another dozen of Southern Hip-Hop explorations alongside DJ VlaD and against G9 his sound shifted into another mixture of styles. More comprehensible, and representing a mixture of rock and contemporary western pop styles, his collaborative effort with The Spontaneous Social Jazz Band (SSJB) recored in "Inna Zi Kitchen" studio resulted in couple of catchy tracks and led to to the discovery and debut of a great Bulgarian singer - Yo. Muazzes also features in several collaborations with Medea in Trap in his glitchy-emotronix sound conducting relatively explorative musical experiments.
