A one-man band with raw-sounds record by Ryan Ka. Some call them grunge, some call post-grunge, some call post-HC. A local Indonesian media claims Mooikite's record as a garage rock revival since the release of Strange Invitation (album, 2014) while the Asian collective press calls them as punk rock after the release of Shallow (single) in 2016. History Born at October 2007 in Surabaya, ID as a new band who started by Ryan Ka and Hugo Nugroho, and then recruited Cupu Yudhis (currently called Yudhistira Leon) as Bassist. They started by making outstanding songs and then recorded them as live tracks. They're going with 3 guys because they thought that "few people=few problems". They'd like to play in many kinds of events and our favorite one if the stage had closed to the audience. They love people. Fortunately, Hugo quit (in 2008). He has gone to find himself. Then, They're playing with Gilang Tilot as a drummer. He's standing with his Classic Rock for his basic to create the beats. Since 2008, Mooikite had more experimental beats for their music. In the end of 2010, Talka had joined as guitarist. He's the soundscape maker. And left the band with some reason. Then, in the middle of 2014, Anggra joined and fill with his catchy guitar touch. After releases "Shallow" the only single that Anggra is involved in, Mooikite broke up in April 2017 while in the middle of studio process of their new album. Nothing is officially announced by every member of the band. In April 2018, the band announces there is a new single appears. Then, "Nobody Loves Me" (single) is released on June 1, 2018 and also be the announcement of Ryan Ka is the only member left in a band. Mooikite is currently a one-man band. Albums -Demo-lition that has 3 tracks; I'm Led by Alien, Everything 'Bout You, Shockin' Coda. -The compilation albums are Fuddy Duddies (I'm Led by Alien), Brotherz Stairway (I'm Led by Alien and Windmill), Brotherz Stairway Comp Again (Windmill and Shockin' Coda). -The second EP is released July 2011, named Sanctuary, with 4 tracks; Between Room and Room, Agatha, Los Muertos, and Windmill. There is also a bonus track on the last. -An EP who called Pohon Pinus is released in July 2012. Having 2 tracks, which claimed as missing album/tracks, been recorded in Lo-Fi, they're called Pohon Pinus and Embarassing Sunset. -In February 2013, Mooikite joins to a compilation called 'The Shrimp's Swamp and Contaminated Beach' with their 3 songs: Embargo, 24 Old, Time Circles. The compilation is also joined by Deskripsi Sebuah Mahasiswa, YK Decay, and Hingar Bingar. It is released by Stone Age Records. -A single called Eyering is released in June 2014.
