Momentum Mortis is a project of Oraku (Lyan, Mortimecya, Dir Despair ,...) of dark orchestral folk. Created in January 2008, Momentum Mortis composed dark and orchestral music, influenced by folk traditions of the world. A first double-album released in March 2008 under Occultum Productions, followed by an EP a month after. This first opus, called Fabulas was very well received by critics and listeners. Then Began several months of compositions leading to a second album : Silent Sanatorium - a concept album about human madness through the fictional story of an asylum. The recording of the album ended in December 2008 and the album was released in April 2009 on autoprod. Its third album, The Other Side Of Neverland (based on Peter Pan's story) was released the same year (under Chabane Records). At the end of 2010, Momemtum Mortis released its fourth album, Mr Crow And The Dead Chorale, under Seventh Crow Records and in 2011, its fifth album, Finis Fabulas and its sixth one, Omen Vulenerant, Ultima Necat... still under Seventh Crow Records.
