The Mobile Funk Naivgators were a funk rock band from Erlangen, Germany from 2003 till 2006. The group was originally composed of James »Jay« Dommisse from South Africa (Vocals & Djembe), Christian »SLAM« Ronniger the inconspicious "boy next door“ (Leadguitar & background vocals), Dominik »Mahoney« Gedeon (Drums & Trumpet), Philippine slapp bassist Emmanuel »Nootsy« Dürr (Bass) and blow master Christian »Vaughn« Wohn (Tenor Sax). Eva »Smiley« Zerpies (Alto Sax) joined the band in October 2004. They were supported by Benny »B Blues« Franke (Mixing & guitar). The band split due to different developments and careers in 2006 and released their only studio album »Greatest Hits Ever«.
