Mittagspause has been an influential pre-punk band from Düsseldorf, Germany. The band formerly existed as Charley's girls with a slightly different line up (?). Mittagspause released a self titled 2x7inch, another 7inch called "Paff" and a live album called "Punk macht dicken Arsch". The studio recordings have been reissued on a CD.
