Minus Tree was formed in Bari, September 2010. The band is composed by musicians who already have other bands in the alternative scene of Puglia, And and Vito (Bury Me at Dawn), Roberto (Reveries), Sandro (Madrezma). They together compose some songs and combine speed, distorted guitars and angry voices tipically hardcore, with melodic openings, more rock solutions and moments that remind of ambient music, mixing different musical and compositive influences of each one. Minus Tree is a words's game, born by chance in the studio, "minus three" floors under the sun's light (and the night one), where "tree" becomes "the tree", best symbol to represent life's cycle. The band is now working on new songs, the band has released on april 11th their first ep called "Individual" supported by a Spring Eurotour. Insieme compongono una manciata di brani in cui uniscono velocità, chitarre distorte e voci rabbiose tipicamente hardcore con aperture melodiche, soluzioni più rock e momenti che sfiorano l'ambient, riuscendo a far coesistere le diverse influenze musicali e compositive di ognuno dei singoli. Minus Tree è un gioco di parole, nato per caso nella sala prove "a meno tre" piani dalla luce del sole (e della notte) dove il three diventa l'albero che in natura meglio rappresenta il ciclo della vita.
