Mimmit is a duo of two sisters coming from a small village called Rääkkylä near the Russian border in eastern Finland: Pauliina Lerche (vocals, accordion, kantele) and Hannamari Luukanen (vocals, fiddle). Their music is joyful and cheerful. They mix old Karelian traditional music with contemporary sounds.
