Milka was born October 22, 1987 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She studied Languages in La Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). From ages 17 to 18, Milka was in a group called J.M.T. (letters standing for Joel, Milka and Trujillo - names of the group members) It was during this time that Milka met Rudy Fortune and Bubloy, who has produced the majority of her hits.
