Mateamargo is Júlia, making post-punk and dreamgaze out of stomach ache. At the end of 2019, mateamargo was born with Júlia Amorim (bass, vocals, keyboards) in the process of transitioning from her hometown - Juiz de Fora, MG - to São Paulo, SP, where she joined Dennis Sinned (guitar, mixing) and later Alexandre Fon (drums), who recorded together the EP "nemtantoassim", officially released in May 2020. After the first release, the Minas Gerais native worked solo with the collaboration of Anum Preto in the production and mixing of her singles "Quinta" (2020), "Olhos Calmos" (2021), "Iridescente" (2021) and "Mornings" (2022). In April 2022, she announced a new line-up, with Igor Vieira (guitar) and Filipe Rizzo (bass), now taking over the production of their own songs. From the end of 2023 to the beginning of 2024, the band made some few performances with the original line-up playing the EP " nemtantoassim" live for the first time.
