1. Mass Transit is the musical project of Matthew J. Vasquez from California. Its music can be described as ambient electronic pop. They began in 1997 and now have around 15 members. They perform a wide selection of popular music, ranging from Janet Jackson, to the Postal Service, to "The Final Countdown" and everything in between. Around campus they are best known for their medleys of pop songs accompanied by dancing, another important part of their performances. Some of the most popluar medleys are NSYNC and Gwen Stefani, but they also do songs from musicals (like Newsies), disco, and rap.
