Maskinen ("The Machine") is a Swedish music group consisting of Frej (from Slagsmålsklubben, Offerprästers Orkester and Far & Son) and Herbert "Afasi" Munkhammar (from Afasi & Filthy) and Ansiktet. The group was active between 2007 and 2015. In 2024, after 9 years of silence, the duo released a single called Maskinen är tillbaka announcing their return. Mats Norman (from duo Lilla Sällskapet) is the groups DJ/producer. Oskar "Kihlen" Linnros, formerly a member of the band Snook, was a member of Maskinen but left after the release of the single "Segertåget" in 2008. Their style of Hip-Hop could be describes as electro/hip-hop with influences from baile funk.
