MAPIMZ, Manuel Pineda Márquez, was born in Seville. in his youth he got deeply involved into music because his father was the guitarist of a local band. Manuel began to be interested in psychedelic rock and 70s music like Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd or Mike Oldfield. Later, his devotion to music lead him to new sounds like techno, house, minimaltechno, minimaldub and experimental ambient. At the age of 20 he began djing in private parties and some local clubs and so he realized that this kind of music is a very important part of his life That is why he decided to start producing. Nowadays he lives in Barcelona and is finishing his musical training so that he can start professionally to produce.
